New Hall in Llanwrtyd Wells, near Builth Wells is a quality bed and breakfast where the rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, the breakfasts locally sourced and the welcome from June and Eugene Duncan warm. New Hall itself is a converted church meeting hall on a quiet edge of town, within five minutes walk of the town centre but where nights are peaceful and undisturbed.
A rather more modern B&B than most with bright airy accommodation, all rooms have proper en-suites with baths and/or power showers, high quality beds plus all the normal facilities ensure you have all you need for a comfortable stay.
There is also a large, comfortable guest lounge and we don't have rules about when you can be there. The decor is modern but homely and as time goes by we plan to bring a bit of 'Welshness' back to New Hall.

Set within the Brecon Beacons National Park, the Old Radnor Barn is designated a grade 2 listed building and dates back nearly 300 years to the mid 18th century. Retaining many original features, it was sympathetically renovated from its former life as a stable building. The barn has a stone roof and an octagonal mullioned window.
All rooms are tastefully decorated and recently furnished having the benefit of either private or en-suite facilities. They are all centrally heated and well equipped with a large sofa, flat screen TV, small fridge, radio, hairdryer, iron, first aid kit, supplementary heater, tea and coffee making facilities together with a courtesy tray including bottled water and fruit bowl. We offer a full choice breakfast menu including our very special full Welsh breakfast with traditionally cured bacon and hand-made sausages. The Barn at Scoriton is a traditional old stone barn conversion situated in a small rural farming hamlet on the gentle slopes of South Dartmoor. Holdstrong Farmhouse dates back to the 17th century. Originally a Devon Longhouse, it is set in a quiet, peaceful, private location on the edge of Darmoor National Park, close to Lydford Gorge (National Trust).
The rooms are furnished in traditional farmhouse style (in keeping with the house’s character and location) with an emphasis on ‘chintz and china’ and incorporate textile crafts.
The day begins with an early morning tea tray served in your bedroom. Breakfast is in the dining room which has a large inglenook fireplace (operated in the winter months), and consists of fresh fruits, yogurts, cereals as well as the traditional English breakfast. Areas of outstanding natural beauty surround the farm such as the Valley of Rocks, the National Trust's Watersmeet and Heddon Valleys, the Heritage coast with some of the highest cliffs in England and of course the legendary Doone Valley made famous by R.D. Blackmore's novel " Lorna Doone".
The farmhouse offers the comfort of central heating throughout. There are five guest bedrooms. All have comfortable beds, electric shaver points and hot drink facilities. Bath and hand towels are provided.

Low Hall is a spacious Victorian farmhouse run by Peter and Tracey Edmondson. The farm is a working beef and sheep farm set in peaceful countryside, offering spectacular views of the Duddon estuary and Lakeland fells. The farmhouse itself is nestled into a hill with a mature wood running alongside.
There are three extremely spacious recently renovated guest rooms; two double rooms and one twin room, all rooms have en-suite shower rooms, colour TV and video, radio, full central heating, hospitality tray and toiletries. Hairdryers and ironing facilities are available.
Both the dining room and guests own lounge have wood burning stoves with both rooms enjoying beautiful views. There is central heating throughout the farmhouse.
To set you up for the day, guests are assured of a traditional farmhouse English breakfast using local produce where possible.
The Cumbrian Coastal Way runs through Kirkby-in-Furness and is only minutes away from the farm. Grizedale Forest is only 20 minutes away, offering paths, tracks, bridleways and mountain bike routes.

Mosscrag was built in 1918. It has been a private home as well as providing bed and breakfast for many years and is now a family run guest house based in beautiful Glenridding in the heart of the English Lake District,
Mosscrag makes an ideal base for exploring the Lakes. We are situated opposite Glenridding Beck and surrounded by the Lake District hills and fells, the most famous being Helvellyn. Three hundred yards away is Lake Ullswater, where you can fish, sail, canoe or windsurf or sail to Howtown and walk the seven miles back to Glenridding which is supposed to be the best lake walk in the district.

Lukes Barn is a lovely, comfortable, well furnished bed and breakfast with some original beams dating back 350 years. It has been completely restored into a warm and welcoming home by Jean Haworth.
Lukes Barn is situated in its own quiet grounds just half a mile from the New Forest and near the historic town of Romsey. A short drive will take you into Romsey where the Mountbatten family reside in Broadlands during the summer months.
The accommodation comprises of a beautiful open plan dining room and lounge where a delicious breakfast is served. Local produce is used when possible.
Bedrooms are on the first floor, again with beamed ceilings, and have colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities and Wifi. Hairdryers and ironing facilities are available. There is off street parking and safe storage for bicycles.
Take a trip to Salisbury, which has a lovely market in the square on Tuesday and Saturday, or visit the famous Cathedral.

Merrimead is in the village of Alderholt, a couple of miles west of the historic town of Fordingbridge known as the gateway to the New Forest.

Spout House Studio is situated midway between Brockenhurst and Lymington. The Studio, formerly an artists studio, is very large and spacious and overlooks the garden and the unspoiled Lymington River and meadows. The Studio has its own private garden area with garden furniture, gas BBQ and access to the main garden which you are also welcome to use.
There are two large and spacious bedrooms with an open plan dining and lounge area. This leads on to the kitchen which is fully equipped. The lounge area has a 'Clearview' wood burner for the cooler nights. freeview TV, DVD player, stereo, also games and DVD's for all ages. All bed-linen, towels and tea towels are supplied. A shared bathroom is close by with a bath with shower over. There is a separate WC.
The Studio is in easy walking distance to two local pubs and a twenty minute approximate walk along the river bank will take you into the Georgian town of Lymington. Continental breakfast is provided for you to prepare yourself.

Wiltshire House is an early Victorian property set in large secluded gardens with ample off-road parking run by owners Gerry Hooper and Sue Plaisted. Many of the original features of the house have been preserved including the servants' call system, although fortunately the only displays still in working order are the front door and servants' entrance.
The village of Bransgore is located on the western boundary of the New Forest National Park. The Parish of Bransgore includes the hamlets of Neacroft, Godwinscroft, Waterditch, Hinton, Holmsley, and the larger settlement of Thornyhill.
Our bedrooms are furnished to a high standard. All rooms are en-suite and equipped with refrigerator, toweling robes, colour tv, hospitality tray and hair dryer.
The Breakfast Room overlooks the lovely, secluded gardens. Cool in the summer months and with a cozy wood burner for those chilly mornings. This elegant room was the original Withdrawing Room and still retains many features of that era.

Cotesfield Farm, nr Bakewell, is a quiet 2 star Visit Britain listed farmhouse on a working farm overlooking the High Peak Trail and Upper Long Dale. It is less than one mile to the cycle hire centre.
Guests have the benefit of accommodation separate from the farmhouse allowing you to go 'free range' yet still have the use of the TV lounge, bathroom with shower and tea making facilities. Some rooms are en-suite, some have shared bathrooms.

Poole Quay is just a 10 minutes walk away and there are golf courses and coastal walks within a convenient distance. There are also a number of local walks and there is a jogging circuit for those more energetic souls.

Rutland Lodge is a classic Grade II listed Victorian villa located in the Wellswood Conservation area in the hills above Torquay. With off road parking, the Rutland Lodge is ten minutes walk from the Marina.
The rooms are luxuriously furnished with Rest-Assured pocket/memory foam mattresses and 37” plasma tvs with cd/dvd players and surround sound. Bathrooms are clad in marble with either roll-top baths or walk-in showers. A pressurized water system provides plenty of hot water. The showers are seriously good.
Here’s where we’re different! I'm trying to provide more freedom for guests than the normal b&b so I live next door. Rutland is just for guests. You are most welcome to stay in the conservatory and adjacent sitting room. A continental breakfast is served in the conservatory from 8am to 10am. A fully equipped kitchen is available to guests with a new Jura ‘bean-to-cup’ coffee machine. Seeing as eating out is getting expensive and Tesco Finest is really quite good why not pop dinner into the oven or microwave, open a much better bottle of wine, then sit in the conservatory to have dinner. Clearing up happens magically (me!).

A hundred yards away from the centre of the popular farming village of Malham, approached over an ancient stone footbridge across the stream, the 18th century Beck Hall is run by Simon and Alice Maufe and their children. The emphasis is on a friendly and homely atmosphere to make your stay a super comfortable and relaxed break away from the stresses of the real world.
Becks Hall started life as a typical Dales yeoman’s cottage, and the original building has been added to in a charmingly rambling manner over the years. In addition to the lounge, with its oak panelling and amazing collection of artefacts, and dining room, the main house has eighteen comfortable en-suite bedrooms. Covill Barn is situated in a stunning rural location on the Nidderdale Way overlooking Gouthwaite Nature Reserve. Set in pleasant stream side gardens, it has been lovingly restored from an Eighteenth Century Cow Mistle and Granary to form a traditional Dales home enhanced by many original features whilst complimented by modern facilities. Covill Barn, as well as being John and Sue's home, provides quality accommodation for walkers, cyclists and motorists who wish to explore this beautiful area.
The traditionally furnished double and twin rooms are within the main house and have breathtaking views to the head of the Dale and over Gouthwaite Nature Reserve. All have full en-suite facilities, colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a stream side patio for guests to enjoy.
Covill Barn overlooks a Nature Reserve at Ramsgill near Pateley Bridge. Gouthwaite Nature Reserve can be viewed from your accommodation or you can walk around its boundary or use one of the hides provided. There is also a good variety of birds of prey to be seen soaring over the dale.

New Butts Farm, near High Bentham, offers top quality bed and breakfast accommodation. Originally constructed in 1865, this attractive farmhouse has magnificent views over Ingleborough and the south west fringe of the Dales National Park.
Inside there are eight letting bedrooms, all spacious and comfortable and equipped with good modern amenities. Some also have en-suite facilities and most have lovely views over the wonderful surrounding countryside.
Jean Newhouse provides her guests with the finest hospitality and generous Yorkshire breakfast. She is also happy to provide first rate evening meals by prior arrangement.
The farm can be found on the southern side of the B6480, two miles west of the A65 at Clapham and is an ideal centre for walking and touring the Lakes and Dales. The area has some of the most stunning and dramatic scenery in the country.

Wood View is one of Austwick's oldest farmhouses (circa 1700) and is an elegant Grade II listed building situated on the village green. Containing many original features such as open fires and beams, it is the home of Sue and David Dewhirst, who provide a high standard of accommodation for discerning visitors to the area.
Complimentary refreshments will be provided in the residents' lounge on arrival. This charming beamed room has an open log fire in the cooler months and is the ideal place to discuss the days' adventures, read a book or just relax.
