Karting tests your driving skill and endurance to the utmost, so it's no surprise that this is the training ground for today's top Formula One drivers. We've selected some of the country's most demanding circuits so you can be sure of a fun-packed, exciting time.
How long does it last?
The total experience will last approximately 1½ to 4 hours depending on the location.
Programme of Events
On arriving at the centre your instructor will begin with a safety briefing, some instructions on your kart controls and you'll be provided with some protective clothing. To familiarise you with the karts and the circuit there will be a few initial practice laps. Then the competitive action begins with a typical programme consisting of a series of thrilling heats, semi-finals and top performers experiencing a heart-thumping final. And, if you're the fastest round the track you'll be awarded a prize trophy - what a great souvenir to take home to remind you of your special day out! The precise programme may vary at each activity venue.

Selected Monday to Sunday dates depending on the location, all year.
Fitness?
This is quite a physical activity and may not be suitable if you have weak arms, heart complaints etc. The minimum height is 1.34m (4ft 5), the maximum is 1.98 (6ft 6). The maximum weight is 114kg (18 stone).
Minimum Age
You must be at least 18 years old but some venues do have a minimum age of 16 years old.
Qualifications Required
You don't need to have a driving licence to go karting.
