Popular musical Sweet Charity will transfer to the West End later this year, moving from the Menier Chocolate Factory where it ends a sold out three-and-a-half month run in March.
Former Eastenders star Tamzin Outhwaite will take the lead role of Charity Hope Valentine in the production, which will open at the Haymarket Theatre on May 4th 2010.
This follows previews from April 23rd and will run until January 8th 2011.
The play follows the misadventures of love encountered by the gullible and guileless Ms Valentine.
Directed by Matthew White, with choreography by Stephen Mear, the production has gained plenty of positive reviews so far, with Michael Billington, writing for the Guardian, giving it four stars.
"Tamzin Outhwaite makes the role of Charity her own
she radiates a sunny, cheerful innocence
Outhwaite dances with a whirling energy that becomes the outward expression of the character's essential purity," he added.
