A spa and pamper break expert has found time to unwind by undergoing a number of therapeutic treatments in Paris.
The Daily Telegraph's spa spy went to the Monmaseur Spa, at the Lutetia hotel, to improve her complexion after "one too many late nights".
She opted for Le Jardin Botanique, a facial which purifies and soothes the skin using a selection of oils.
This also included a foot massage to soothe her feet, which had begun to ache after the new year party season.
"First a muslin swab was patted with some determination - over the face. Next, the oils were used in a facial massage, and then mixed into a mask. The foot massage left me soporific and feeling slightly tingly thanks to the reflexology," she added.
Visitors to the Lutetia can also unwind in the complex's fitness centre, while there are also business facilities for those who cannot switch off from their daily working routine.
