A special event for murder mystery specialists is set to be held at a North Devon hotel later this month.
The North Devon Gazette reported that the Barnstaple Velvet Theatre Company is hosting the 1920s-themed dinner at Trimstone Manor Country House Hotel near Ilfracombe on February 27th.
Lady Barbara Plympton will welcome guests and take them back to the jazz age, with attendees being invited to wear period clothing.
Aspiring Agatha Christies and Inspector Morses will have to unravel a number of clues given out by the actors to find out who is the murderer among them, while a prize will be handed out to the winning guest who solves the mystery.
Tickets cost £35, with a three-course meal being served up, and all proceeds will go to the Barnstaple Stroke Support charity.
Visitors to the hotel can also take advantage of an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room and 44 acres of the surrounding grounds.
